views everywhere you go, cute villages and country roads and tonnes of
great places to rest your hat.
Below I'm going to walk you through some of my personal favourite finds
and why they're worth a trip up North.
The Masons Arms, Strawberry bank
This idyllic 16th century inn has 5 rooms and 2 cottages, set in the blissful countryside
of the Southern Lake District.
Why stay here? Great food, a warming fire and pup friendly
accomodation.
The Plough Inn, Lupton
This 6 bed inn has all the
benefits of a classic B&B (cosy with a great local feel) but with an
added touch of luxury. Think roll top baths, antique furniture and fine
dining, this nugget has it all.
Why stay here? Great location - head North to explore the Lakes, East
for the Dales or South for the Forest of Bowland.

District needs food and Chesters is the perfect start or end to a
country walk along the river to Elterwater and back. Whether you're
grabbing a pastry to go or you're looking for a chill brunch/lunch
setting, Chesters has you covered. grab a
Why eat here? Incredible veggie food right next to the River Brathay.
