The documentary opens up an important conversation on the reasons why women feel ashamed of their body hair and why we as a society have the thoughts we do towards women's bodies and the impossible beauty standards they are expected to uphold. In 2018 Chidera created the trending #SAGGYBOOBSMATTER movement to encourage people to know that your body matters no matter how it looks and to leave women feeling more empowered within their bodies. About The Book

In ‘How To Get Over A Boy,’ Chidera shows us how to change the narrative that finding a man is the sole purpose of our existence, and instead provides us with solutions to the problems we face in our dating lives- from knowing your own worth and setting healthy boundaries, to male entitlement and reclaiming your own time back. Chidera simply does not hold back. The main takeaway for me was the realisation that I wasn't recognising my own potential and worth, that I was the prize and shouldn’t have to prove my worthiness to anyone- especially those who were not going through the same efforts to prove their worthiness to me. In the book, Chidera explains how once she stopped being preoccupied with how her beauty was perceived, she was able to lean into her other qualities- like her being clever, dominant and independent. It taught me that my own opinion of myself was way more important than ANYONE else's, and realising this freed up a lot of time and space in my head to focus on my own growth and development, instead of trying to please everyone else. Chidera teaches us in the book that men are more disposable than we think, and if they are not going above and beyond to match our standards, then there's alway someone better available to us- and until then, you are MORE than enough on your own.

I finished the book feeling like I had a lot I wanted to change about my life, that I wasn't even aware of before- and I’m so glad I did! It's an empowering book that I believe every woman should own, because every woman deserves to know her worth and realise when she is settling for less than she deserves.
