Living in pods that can number a dozen or more, dolphins are intensely social mammals that communicate with squeaks, whistles, and clicks. They even have names for each other! Because of their complex language, self-awareness, and apparent intelligence, they are considered the most intelligent mammal next to primates - us + apes - and elephants!. They are beautiful creatures, wouldn't you agree?
