Each Parisian arrondissement has its sights to see, its shopping streets and its quiet adjacent alleys, its squares, terraces and beloved meeting places for local residents. The same goes for the 14th arrondissement! When the urbanization of Paris spread, it assimilated several small villages such as Petit Montrouge, the village of Pernety and the new village of Orléans which together ended up forming the 14th arrondissement.
