A Brief Timeline
- 1933 - the house of Windsor aquires its first Corgi
- 1944 - Jane the Corgi joins the royal family
- 1944 - The famous corgi Susan is given to Princess Elizabeth for her 18th Birthday
- 1947 - Princess Elizabeth takes Susan on her honeymoon with Prince Phillip
- 1954 - One of the Queen's Corgi's bites a mamember of the Queen's Guard
- 2002 - Queen Elizabeth stops breeding corgis reportedly so none are left behind
- 2012 - Willow the Corgi co-stars in a sketch that opened the London Olympics with Daniel Craig
- 2018 - The last remaining corgi, Willow, passes away
The Palace Still Has Dorgis
The queen has two dorgis, Vulcan and Candy, who are a part of the crossbreed that occured when a dachshund belonging to Princess Margaret mated with one of the queen's corgis.
