My favorite sport
Hockey
is a family of sports in which two teams compete to carry a ball of a
hard material (plastic) to the opposing goal to score points with the
help of a long stick called a
"hockey stick"
The game can be played on grass, watered turf, artificial turf or
synthetic field, as well as an indoor boarded surface.
The equipment a player needs is a hockey ball, hockey stick, mouthguard
and shin guards.
On the other hand, the goalies often have a different design of stick
that has another curve at the end of the stick, which is to give it more
surface area to block the ball. The uniform of the goalie consists of
shin guards, shoes, shorts or a skirt, a mouthguard and a jersey.
