Maguta Coffee Estate is located in the foot Nyeri, Central Kenya on the highly fertile volcanic soils on the slopes of Mt. Kenya. The farm was started in 1980's by the late Fredrick Maguta and was later improvised to what it is now by his son David Maguta in the 2018 The farm sits on 4.98 hectare and 1787 meters above see level. In2019 the farm launched their own coffee line of coffee beans and coffee whereby they sell premium quality to the local market. They are in the quest to start a revolution for Kenyan coffee. Half of the profits gotten from sale of the coffee beans is given to the less fortunate women of Muruguru, Nyeri County as an effort to empower women in the community.
