What is a Smoothie Bowl?

A smootie bowl it´s a new way to eat a smoothie. Compared to the smoothies you´re used to sipping with a straw, the base of a smoothie bowl has a slightly thicker - almost ice-cream like consistency - of whole foods, such as frozen fruits, veggies and other healthful mix-ins (e.g. avocado, oats or yogurt). The colorful base then gets poured into a bowl and topped with artfully decored toppings that range from simple to over-the-top. You can use granola, sliced fruits, seeds, chocolate chips 😋... and even edible flowers!
