Japan is truly a magical place. There is something for everyone to enjoy from big city life to quiet country life.There are many attractions such as theme parks, museums and cultural events. Don't miss out on tea ceremonies or visiting shrines, temples and castles to really take in the beautiful architecture and scenery. Visit a cat cafe in Tokyo, feed the deer in Nara, or visit the monkeys at the top of Iwatayama if you like animals.
Japan is an island country in East Asia, located in the northwest Pacific Ocean. It is bordered on the west by the Sea of Japan, and extends from the Sea of Okhotsk in the north toward the East China Sea and Taiwan in the south.
Japan Attractions
- Tokyo: Visit the Imperial Palace and gardens or have fun at Disneyland Tokyo
- Kyoto: See the historic sites and temples such as the famous Golden Pavilion
- Osaka: Visit Dotonbori, the main entertainment district and the aquarium or go on tour in the Universal Studios
- Hokkaido: Go skiing or snowboarding in one of the oldest ski resorts in Japan
- Nagano: Monkey parks and hot springs and the famous Matsumoto Castle
- And don't forget try to go on a ride on the super-fast Shinkansen train, the high-speed Japanese bullet train. The maximum speed of the train is 320 kph/ 200 miles per hour)
