Most vegan cheeses are made from nuts, such as cashews or almonds, but there are many varieties made from seeds such as sunflowers, soy beans or tofu, and others made from oats, like Riverdel's housemate out cheese. Since first opening in Brooklyn, NY, in 2015, Riverdel has continuously strived to be the foremost expert in vegan cheese. Five years later, Riverdel has fully relocated to the historic Essex Market in Manhattan, New York City.
