Catarina Caldeira Baguinho

Born in Portalegre, a small country town of Portugal, Catarina moved to Lisbon to study at the university. In between, she studied in Madrid (Erasmu's time). At first, she loved the big city, but nowadays, she lives wishing she could work and live at the country side (or near the sea, since it means live in a smaller city then Lisbon). While this doesn't happen, she has to spend almost 45 minutos between her home and her workplace. 🙄

First came the course: journalism. Then a few workshops: of television journalism, techniques of oral expression (yah... but now she hates speak in public 🤔), online communities management, social media marketing 2.0 and in SEO. Later, she decided to learn more deeply about the digital world. And so she did a postgraduate course in digital strategic communication. Code? Well... A recent crush (they are still getting to know each other 🤷🏻‍♀️).

Her first job of all: harvest grape, still in high school. Then as stair washer to earn some pocket money. After college came the first job as journalist: in a magazine and website about media, marketing and advertisement (Briefing), and another one about technology (which in the meantime closed). About 3 years later she changed of areas (nop, not her profession — she continued being a journalist) to journalism of health and wellbeing at Prevenir. A year ago she discovered a new job (that she's loving): branded content account, at Observador (let us see what comes next...).
