Sustainable apartment living is easier than you think

Small and sustainable go hand in hand.

You may not have the space for a garden or a compost pile, but living small means less energy use, less material consumption, and less land (this article explains more on the subject). Not only do you use less resources in an apartment, but if you are in the city you likely have access to public transit, bikeshares, farmer's markets and local grocers, and a municipal recyling system.
