Who can recieve flowers?

Flowers can be given to anyone! However there are some cultural expectations!
You can give flowers to a man for an anniversary or a special celebration. It's best to choose a large single color bouquet with long stems. The same occassions are appropriate times to give flowers to women, although you'll want be sure to choose soft colors. Including leaves is a nice touch as leaves are a symbol of hope!

For older women you can give potted plants as a gift; it's considerate to give a low-maintenace houseplant that the reciever will enjoy!

Keep in mind!
