SLOTHS 🦥
Slow, but mysterious.
Sloths are interesting mammals, which live in Costa
Rica. They are so slow, bacause of their digestion. They spend most of
their life hanging from a tree branch in tropical forests, eating
leaves. They are herbivores. The only time, when they step on the ground
is, when they have to poo, and this happens just once a week. Bacause
they are so slow and they don't move a lot they are hosts to moths and
algae. I think they are adorable, especially baby sloths.
Those
funny creatures have 2 or 3 large fingers with claws, which help then
not to fall from branches. Because of the way they're hanging, they have
some extra vertebras, which prevent sloths from getting dizzy. And as if
that isn't already special enough, they can also swim, even faster than
they move on land.
