Alice Aedy is a British documentary photographer, filmmaker, and activist who has reported inside refugee camps in
France, Serbia, and Greece. Alice Aedy specializes in womenโs rights, migration, and environmental problems. She has graduated with a degree in History and Politics from LSE in 2015. Similarly, she has also done an MA in
Documentary Film-Making from UCL in 2018. Her work focuses on forced migration, environmental issues, and womenโs rights. She spent much of 2015-19 on the front-lines
of the refugee crisis, reporting from refugee camps across Europe and the Middle East.
Nora AlMatrooshi is an Emirati austronaut. The Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates wrote that she will be the first Arab woman to train as an astronaut. She
was selected from more than 4,000 applicants for a NASA programme. She has been selected in April 2021. She will train along the NASA Astronaut Group 23 of astronauts to the function of
international mission specialist.
She is a mechanical engineer by training with a BS from the United Arab Emirates University. She also studied in 2014 at
the Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMK) in Finland.
Allyson Felix is one of the most decorated track and field athletes in history with nine Olympic medals โ a record she shares
with Jamaican sprinter Merlene Ottey. Six of Felix's Olympic medals are gold, the most of any female track and field
star.
Even more incredibly, she won gold at the World Championships after becoming a mother in late 2018. But after Felix gave
birth, she said her previous sponsor, Nike, offered her a 70 per cent pay cut, and in an op-ed for the New York Times,
she exposed the poor maternity treatment she said she received from Nike.
After the outcry, Nike agreed to update future contracts with female athletes.
