Otters are the cutest
To prevent themselves from floating away in the swirling sea while they sleep, sea otters entangle themselves in
forests of kelp or giant seaweed to provide anchorage. This is also the reason why they hold hands 🥰.
Otters also have particularly poop, which even has its own name: spraints. It’s thought to get its special odor,
which some scientists describe as smelling like violets, from the seafood diet otters eat.
