Firenze(Florence in English) is
one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
From being the center of Renaissance to producing high quality textiles
and leathers, the city known for its rich culture and history in the
arts. It was home to one of the most powerful families in Italy - the
Medici - and their presence is found all over the city.
Where ever you walk in the city, there's always something to marvel at.
If you ever get lost, find your way to the Duomo (the largest cathderal
in Firenze) and start again. There's so much to do - shopping, visiting
art museums, eating amazing food, etc.
One of the best views in Florence is from Piazzale Michelango, east of
the Arno River. There are different ways to travel to this piazza, but
my favorite is the long windy trail. Remember to look back and see the
sweeping views of the city on your way up. Bring a bottle of wine, some
appetizers and enjoy the sunset, surrounded by beautifuls views with
both locals and tourists.
