The unwarranted or excessive and often illegal use of force against
civillians by U.S police officers.
Black Lives matter, BLM
is an international human rights movement that figths for freedom,
liberation and justice. The movement campaigns against violence and
systemic racism towards black people.
George Floyd recently was a victim of such violence, as a police officer
knelt on his neck for 9 minutes, the other police officers further
restrained him, despite Floyd's plea for air. George Floyd was
motionless and had no pulse for the last 3 minutes, the officers made no
attempts to revive him, and the officers knee remained on Floyd's neck
even when emergency medical technicians attempted to treat Floyd.
This treatment from the police is far from abnormal for the black
population.
