The Pamir Highway in Central Asia is the second highest international highway in the world. It leads through Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan and is also called the Roof of the World.
This 14-day trip will take you to the remote regions of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. You will travel through rugged mountain ranges and marvel at the stunning lakes and the landscape of the Pamir Mountains. You will sleep in yurts and mingle with the locals. You will encounter herds of yaks and stroll over the markets of Dushanbe and Bishkek, the Tajik, and the Kyrgyz capitals. During the whole journey, two local guides from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan will lead you and will give you a deep insight into their countries, cultures, and cuisines.
