Learning to code has unlocked a whole new world of digital creativity and technical logic. Through SheCodes Basics, I spent Week 1 mastering foundational structural engineering using semantic HTML tags and core CSS styling features. In Week 2, I scaled up into responsive architecture using advanced decoration rules, smooth element spacing, and an introduction to application scripting frameworks. The absolute highlight has been tuning into cool motivational music tracks compliments of sheCodes radio 🎶, which has quickly become a core part of my workflow to maintain high energy levels and sharp focus.
During Week 3, I dived straight into advanced JavaScript logic, managing complex data functions, interactive browser events, and conditional script loops. This learning track completely tied all three weeks together, culminating in this Final Project where I engineered a fully operational graduation interface from a blank canvas, but not without issues. After surviving a complete codebase loss, which turned into an intense, multi-hour marathon of fixing , debugging and learning but the music kept me going, and to my utter surprise the project came out better than before! SheCodes has opened up a whole new world - I cannot wait to dive deeper into software engineering, so stay tuned and watch this space! 😉
