A telescope pointed at a starry sky

A small love letter

Look up.
The sky is talking.

Every clear night, the same free show has been running for thousands of years. Most of us just forget to check the listings.

Why I love this

It's the one screen that owes you nothing

I got into stargazing because it asks for so little and gives back so much: no wifi, no login, no algorithm deciding what you see next. Just your eyes, a dark patch of sky, and patience.

The light hitting your eyes tonight left some of those stars before humans learned to write. Every time I look up, that fact still stops me mid-sentence.

You don't need a telescope to start. You need ten minutes, a spot away from streetlights, and the willingness to let your eyes adjust.
