This steel apparatus that resembles a hula hoop has been used in circus performance and other performing arts. In more recent years, it has been gaining popularity as an alternative and fun way to get into shape. These fitness classes can help to increase upper body and core strength, as well as balance, flexibility, stamina and endurance. Depending on the performer's preference, the hoop can be hollow or solid, with one, two or no tabs, and it could be static, spinning or swinging For more information, check out: THIS PAGE
