When it comes to Banan Bread, there are so many recipies floating around that it can be suprisingly hard to choose which one that is actuell worth trying.
After trying and testing quite a few myself, i feel like I've finally discovered the secret ingredient that makes the difference between a good and a great Banana Bread: Brown Butter.
Browining the butter adds a warm, nutty depth of flavor that will have you remaking this recipe again and again 🍌

  1. start by preheating your oven to 175°C
  2. on low to medium heat, melt your butter and continously stir and scarpe the buttom of your pan until your butter starts to bubble and starts to brown. This should take about 10-15 minutes. When your butter starts smelling nutty and you can see a foamy tecture on the surface, remove from the heat immideatly and let it cool down for atleast 10 minutes.
  3. in a large bowl, comibine your browned butter with the brown sugar and 3 mashed bananas.
  4. Once the Bananas are fully incorparated and combined add in one egg and your vanilla extract.
  5. In a seperate bowl mix all your dry ingridieanrs together until their well combined. Fold this into the wet ingredients until you no longer see any flour.
  6. Add your chocolate chips into the mixture and pour into a lined bread dish
  7. Top with even more chocolate chips and bake for 45-55 minutes.
  8. Let it cool down for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
