One of the most impressive skills dogs have is their sense of smell. A dog’s nose is far more powerful than a human’s, allowing them to detect scents that people cannot notice. Because of this, dogs are trained to find missing people, locate disaster survivors, detect illegal drugs or explosives, and even identify certain diseases such as cancer or diabetes.
