Soldering has become one of my favorite hobbies. I've always loved creating things with my hands. It actually
started
with 3D puzzles — I used to put them together and give them to my family as gifts. Then one day, while I was
scrolling
online (not the best habit, but thankfully soldering replaced it), I came across a man building a tiny Christmas
tree
for his son. I looked up the kit immediately.
About a week later, my soldering iron arrived, and I haven't looked back since. If you enjoy putting together 3D
or even
2D puzzles, I highly recommend trying soldering — just be careful, because everything gets very hot.
Heat-resistant
gloves help, but you still need to stay mindful. I made the switch because most soldering kits are cheaper than 3D
puzzles, and now that I'm learning programming, I can expand into more advanced kits. For example, there's a
Bluetooth
speaker kit you can assemble, program, and actually use. Two of my passions coming together — how cool is
that.
So if you're a tinkerer like me, someone who loves putting things together, or a creative person who can't stand
idle
hands, you might want to look into soldering. 🤖🔥🖋️ (Still no emoji for it, sadly.)
