CrossFit is a strength, conditioning, and overall fitness program
consisting mainly of a mix of aerobic (cardio) exercises, calisthenics
(bodyweight exercises), and weightlifting. CrossFit describes its
strength and conditioning program as "constantly varied functional
movements executed at high intensity across broad time and modal
domains", and it aims to improve the overall fitness of its participants
by increasing their work capacity in these domains. CrossFit believes
there are ten components or domains in physical fitness:
cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility,
power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, accuracy.
