Knitting is a versatile hobby; it helps me concentrate and relax. It brings me calm and lets me make thoughtful things for people I care about. I’ve managed to make some lovely presents for my family and friends, including this blanket below. I’m still very much in the scarf solar system, and my family have now banned me from gifting them scarves and have requested hats instead. I managed to knit a hat that fit my teddy perfectly.
It’s not surprising that knitting has been recognised to have
mental‑health benefits — something I can gratefully attest to.
