My lifelong love of video games

My love for video games started at a young age with the Tandy computer. We only had one game, Dragonfire, and that was also when I first discovered coding through a program called BASIC. I remember spending hours typing in lines of code just to make one little box appear on the screen.

From the Tandy, we eventually moved on to the Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy, Super Nintendo, and GameCube. I took a break from gaming during my college years, and the first consoles I bought as an adult were the Nintendo DSi, Nintendo Wii, and PlayStation 4.

These days, I own a Nintendo Switch, a gaming PC, a Steam Deck, and a PlayStation 5. My two favorite games are The Last of Us and God of War. At the same time, I run a gaming channel on YouTube where I play cozy titles like Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Disney Dreamlight Valley.
