Karaoke begin in Japan in the early 1970s and quickly grew into a worldwide entertainment trend.The word "karaoke" combines "kara" empty and "oke" (orchestra), meaing "empty orchestra"-music without a lead singer.By the 1980's, karoke spead across Asia, then to U.S and Europe. Today it is a global pastime to enjoy with friends, family, and even strangers.
