My favorite type of music
Singing is ancient and universal, predating spoken language and likely
stemming from early humans using vocal sounds for communication,
emotional expression, and social bonding. It transitioned from a
survival tool to a central part of religious ceremonies and storytelling
in ancient civilizations like Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Greece. Singing
evolved through the Middle Ages, The Renaissance period, and modern
singing styles which continued to develop, leading to the diverse styles
we have today.
