Assessing the impact of robotics and extended reality applications in crop farming

Survey of stakeholder groups

Due to scarcity and high cost of labour, added to the concern of ageing of the farming comunity in European agriculture, there is a growing demand for automated solutions in crop management especially of repetitive and ardous operations. While robotic applications have found their way into the domain of crop farming, evidence on socio-economic and environmetal impact is lacking.

An European project called AgRibot - which seeks to integrate robotics, internet connectivity and extended reality to automation of crop management- is striving to develop a user-customizable decision support tool that helps farmers and interested stakeholders to evaluate the socio-economic and environmental impact of robotic applications in crop farming.

To gain insights into the expectations and concerns of different stakeholder groups, AgRibot has deployed a multiligual and anonymous survey which we would appreciate your help with answering. Take the survey following this link or simply scan the QR code. AgRibot Survey

In the AgRibot project, testing and demonstation is done on six use cases drawn from six countries: Denmark, Switzerland, Greece, Italy, Spain and Belgium . Learn more about the project use cases here on the project website.
