Crochet is a needlecraft that creates fabric by interlocking loops of yarn or thread with a single hooked needle. Unlike knitting, which uses two needles and keeps all stitches on the needles, crochet only has loops on the hook at one time. This technique can produce a wide variety of items, from delicate lacework and clothing to blankets and three-dimensional stuffed toys called amigurumi.
