Tabata is a powerful form of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), designed to maximize results in minimal time. Each session consists of 20 seconds of intense exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated for 8 rounds — a full set takes just 4 minutes. If you're short on time but want an effective workout that boosts both strength and endurance, Tabata is the perfect choice.

It was developed by Dr. Izumi Tabata and his team at the National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Tokyo, Japan.
