Haku is my pet
green-cheeked conure. His name is Japanese and can have
one of several meanings, including "river," "soul," "feather," and
"hope." He likes to eat all red foods such as apples, plums, tomatoes,
and radishes only if the color fools him. He never gets enough of you
petting his head.
The green-cheeked parakeet (Pyrrhura molinae), also sometimes
known as the green-cheeked conure in aviculture, is a species of bird in
subfamily Arinae of the family Psittacidae, the African and New World
parrots. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay.
