Currently, cooking is a lost art among many. Due to societal pressures, parents lack the time to teach or the desire to spend time making food at home with the convenience of ordering from a delivery application.
The commitment to begin learning to cook is a journey with very fruitful rewards. It's important to remember when starting out to start with making foods you already enjoy eating! While appliances can be a tremendous help to speed up the process, one can start with simply a large knife, a cutting board, a 10-inch non-stick frying pan, and a 6-quart pot. Bonus if the lid works for both the pot and pan. Lastly, to begin, you need salt, crushed black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. If you don't know where to begin, think about your favorite take-out dish! Finding a video online with a linked recipe article is a great place to start.
