The hummingbird hawk-moth (Macroglossum stellatarum) is a day-flying moth that resembles a hummingbird in both
appearance and behavior.
It hovers in front of flowers to feed, just like its avian
counterpart.
It is also one of the few insects capable of flying backwards!
