A journey over ten years in the making
Like many people, I have always wanted to become fluent in French. Obsessed with the sound of it since I was a child, I decided in 2012 to make a commitment to really making it come true! Over the years I have taken college classes, studied on my own, and taken classes at the Alliance Française in Sacramento. But the highlight of my studies was getting to study at the Institut de Touraine in Tours, France, where I finally felt I acheived the fluency I was hoping for! It was not an easy journey, but definitely worth it, and I encourage anyone who ever wants to become fluent to give a shot!
