Netball is a dynamic and highly strategic team sport that emphasizes agility, precision, and coordination. Originating from early versions of basketball, netball has grown into an internationally recognized sport, especially popular among women in countries such as South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, England, and Jamaica.

The game is played by two teams of seven players on a rectangular court, with each position having specific roles and zones they’re allowed to play in. Unlike basketball, players cannot dribble the ball and must pass it within three seconds. This creates a fast-paced rhythm that requires players to think and move quickly. Strong communication, spatial awareness, and timing are essential to succeed.

As a player,that plays 3 out of the 7 positions,GA(GOAL ATTACK), WA(WING ATTACK, C(CENTER) I’ve experienced firsthand how netball builds discipline and teamwork. Every practice session strengthens not only physical stamina and reflexes but also the ability to support and trust your teammates. Whether you're playing as a Goal Shooter (GS) under pressure or a Wing Defence (WD)anticipating your opponent’s next move, every role is vital.

Netball is more than just a sport,it’s a lifestyle, a sisterhood, and a powerful platform for empowerment.
