My three favourite winter hot drinks

White Chocolate Cappuccino
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

white chocolate cappuccino with foam

The Nescafé White Chocolate Cappuccino is my first go-to hot drink when I am at home. Especially in South African winter, it gets very cold and sometimes hits negative temperatures. This drink keeps me warm and cuddle up in bed with a book. I enjoy the sweet taste of the white chocolate which pairs well with cappuccino. It has a layer of velvety foam, but I enjoy it with even more foam that I make with hot milk using a milk frother. Every time I have Nescafé White Chocolate Cappuccino I feel like I'm having it for the first time! It gives me such joy to have found this drink, it is indeed praiseworthy.

Here's how I make my favourite cup of Nescafé White Chocolate Cappuccino:
Hot milk, hot boiled water, one teaspoon of brown sugar (optional) and Nescafé White Chocolate Cappuccino satchet.

Directions:
Get two (250 / 200ml) cups. Pour the hot milk in one cup, add a teaspoon of brown sugar (optional) and stir. Use your milk frother to froth milk. In the other cup, pour hot boiled water to warm your cup for a moment then pour it out. Open your Nescafé White Chocolate Cappuccino satchet, put it in the warm cup and add hot boiled water up to three quarters of the cup. Stir well. Add the hot milk and stir again. Now it is ready to enjoy!

Lemon, Ginger and Honey Tea
⭐⭐⭐⭐

lemon, ginger and honey tea with a sliced lemon, sliced ginger root and honey in a bowl

Lemon, ginger and honey tea is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants that boost our immune system. I add a teabag of Tetley+ Peach & Orange flavoured Green tea with Vitamin C in my lemon, ginger and honey tea recipe. This is my second favourite hot drink! I enjoy drinking this herbal tea at home and when I'm on the run and need something to keep me warm in cold winter temperatures. I really love the herbal flavour of the tea when I have left it for a while in my travel mug and the flavours of lemon, ginger and honey infuse together to create such a flavourful taste. I drink this tea for its great benefits in anti-inflammatory effects, relief from indigestion, and it provides relief from cold and flu symptoms.

Here's how I make my favourite cup of lemon, ginger and honey tea:
Get one lemon, one root of ginger, honey, a teabag of Tetley+ Peach & Orange flavoured Green tea with Vitamin C and hot boiled water.

Directions:
Get a travel mug of 400ml or a cup of 250 / 200ml. Peel the whole lemon and peel about a quarter of ginger root. Cut thin lemon and ginger slices. Add the lemon and ginger slices into the travel mug or cup and add 2 tablespoons of honey into the travel mug or cup. Pour hot boiled water and stir well. You can add more honey to your own taste preferrence. Now it is ready to enjoy!
