I was born and raised in Tokyo, so I am a little biased to say that it's the best city in the world. But with that being said, I think anyone who has visited Tokyo can agree that it's an amazing city full of the best food, attractions, and people. The "city that never sleeps" is exhilirating and you can't help fall in love with the hustle and bustle of the city. Tokyo is the capital of Japan and makes up almost 10% of the total population of the country. The primary language spoken is Japanese, but many people also speak English. The olympics is scheduled to happen in Tokyo in the summer of 2021 and there is a lot of anticipation leading up to the big event. The last time Tokyo hosted the olympics was in 1964. As Tokyo continues to embace its historical yet modern dynamic, it will forever be my favorite city in the world.
