I love Dogs
Dogs are special
The keeping of dogs as companions , particularly by elites, has a long history.Pet-dog populations grew significantly after World War II as suburbanization increased.[195] In the 1980s, there have been changes in the pet dog's functions, such as the increased role of dogs in the emotional support of their human guardians.[196][197][198] Within the second half of the 20th century, more and more dog owners considered their animal to be a part of the family. This major social status shift allowed the dog to conform to social expectations of personality and behavior.[198] The second has been the broadening of the concepts of family and the home to include dogs-as-dogs within everyday routines and practices.[198]
