How what I've learned is transferable to Customer Success
On the surface, it seems as though 3.5 years abroad would detract from a future in b2b tech, but in actuality, it was preparing me for a successful career in Customer Success.
Here are five (of many) lessons I've learned that directly translate to my career-to-be:
- Expect the unexpected.
- "Weird" is no longer in my vocabulary, some things are just different.
- Even if something is different, it's not wrong. There are multiple approaches to working, living, communicating, etc.
- We are all human beings who are yearning for happiness and meaningful connections.
- The more we learn how to empathize and tap into the core of humanity to relate with others, the more we can exist harmoniously.
