Why rollerblade?

Rollerblading has tons of benefits for your physical and mental wellbeing. It's a fun, low-impact exercise that can improve your balance, as well as working out some core muscles. It can be a solo or group activity, and you can skate indoors or enjoy gliding around outside.

Learning to rollerblade

Firstly, it's important to have the correct safety gear. Even the most experienced skaters fall over sometimes! You'll need a helmet, as well as pads for your wrists, knees and elbows.

It's recommended that you begin in a small, flat area with objects to help you stabilise, such as a rail. You can also bring along a friend who can help while you get used to balancing.
