Photography is a visual art form that has become an integral part of our daily lives. It involves capturing and creating images using light and a camera, and has evolved over the years to become a powerful tool for communication, documentation, and artistic expression. Photography is more than just the act of taking pictures—it's a blend of art, science, and storytelling. From the earliest black-and-white images to today’s ultra-high-definition digital captures, photography has evolved into a powerful medium for expression, documentation, and communication. It allows us to freeze time, preserve memories, and view the world from new perspectives.

At its core, photography is a scientific process involving light, optics, and chemistry (or digital processing). The basic components of a camera—lens, aperture, shutter, and sensor or film—work together to capture light and create an image. Understanding these elements is essential for any photographer. For example: Aperture controls how much light enters the lens and affects depth of field. Shutter speed influences how motion is captured, from frozen action to motion blur. ISO adjusts the sensitivity to light, impacting image brightness and grain.
