What is Eurovision?
🎶 Eurovision is an annual song contest which brings together musical acts from over 30 countries.
Starting in 1956, it has grown into one of the most popular music events in the world,
boasting over 160 million viewers across the globe in 2024!
This year, 37 countries will be vying for the win
in Basel, Switzerland.
The semi-finals kick off on the 13th May and the grand final will take place on the 17th May. 🎶
🎶 As well as embracing music from different cultures, Eurovision is well known for its impressive staging and flamboyant costume designs. If you're lucky enough to attend in person, you're sure to see dedicated fans emulating famous costumes from previous contests! 🎶
