Overprotected: The Britney Spears Story

It all starts with the singer's conservatorship that dates back to 2008.

Conservatorships, or guardianships, are a very tangible way that the elderly and people with disabilities and/or mental illness are legally allowed to be entirely controlled, exploited and abused by their guardians – which is Toxic.

Britney Jean Spears changed my life. I will never forget how I felt the first time I listed to Baby One More time. She also made me realize the unstoppable power of being a woman, she is a queer icon and a beautiful soul. This wonderful legend has spend the last 13 years of her life being controlled and manipulated by many people in her close circle and especially, by her own father.

Though the stigma surrounding Spears's mental health battles has followed the singer since 2007, her career never faltered. She has released 4 studio albums, gone on 4 world tours and completed an extremely successful 4 year long Las Vega Residency show. Doesn't sound like someone that lacks the mental and emotional capacity to take care of herself and her estate?

Britney Spears is more than capable to make decision regarding her own life and her career, she needs to be free! For her & for all women and humans that are being silenced, manipulated, exploited and controlled by evil men.
