The most interesting thing about high heels they were not designed for women at first, they designed for Persian soldiers their fuction was to help the soldiers to stay up right and be able to shoot. In the 1700s women started to wear high heels, the first woman to wear heels was Catherine de' Medici, she wore them at her wedding. High heels always symbolized luxury,style, elegance and power.
