🎵 Celebrating Queer Artists of Colour 🎵
How many do you know?
The 2010s were an amazing time for music in North America, especially music
coming from various diverse sources. As the western world gradually starts
to accept and celebrate queerness, a world of opportunities was opened for
LGBT+ artists of colour to express themselves. While we see a growing
presence of queer POC as actors, buisnesss owners, influencers, and directors,
many musicians have also hit the spotlight to further widen the range of American
media. As I personally navigated the 2010s and early 2020s I've amassed a collection
of artists who had a hand in the progression of acceptance and diversity.
