My Dream Car
1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 aka Eleanor
A picture of an Eleanor, take note the spotlights at the bottom is one of the things that makes it diffirent to the other Mustangs.
In modern times people prefer public transport as it is a cheaper and
faster way of commuting. Cars are made to be more eco friendly, so the
petrol heads out there is in the minority. From a young age I've been
one of those petrol heads. That feeling when you put your foot down and
get pushed back into the seat is just incredible. In that moment it
feels like you are one with the car. The might of the engine is in your
hands. The car does what you want it to do, goes where you tell it to
go. My favorite car is a Ford Mustang Eleanor.
I like all the Mustangs but the Eleanor is
just in a league of its own, it's simply beautiful.
The Mustangs designer was a big fan of the fighter plane P-51 Mustang,
hence the name. The first Mustang was completed on the 17th of April
1964. All Shelby Mustangs have two things in common, power and race
inspired looks.
Carroll Shelby said: "There is never enough horsepower.. Just enough
traction."
