The Negroni cocktail has a rich history that dates back to 1919 in Florence, Italy. According to legend, Count Camillo Negroni, an Italian aristocrat, asked his bartender, Fosco Scarselli, to strengthen his usual Americano cocktail by replacing the soda water with gin, creating the Negroni

How to make:
The negroni is a cocktail, made of equal parts gin, vermouth rosso (red, semi-sweet), and Campari, generally served on the rocks, and commonly garnished with an orange slice or orange peel. It is considered an apéritif.
Build in glass over ice, garnish and serve.
Commonly served before dinner.
